WHAT DO THE PEOPLE SAY?
March 28, 2008
Dear Jane,
Thank you for your Healing Childhood Trauma CD - it has been a HUGE help. I was having a very hard time with the visualizations and it took me awhile to reorganize my brain. My abuser was my mother and I passed this abuse on to my son - who, in turn, is passing it back to me. I finally grasped the concept of mercy and compassion and that I could wrap him in the blue light and send him up to heaven surrounded by unconditional love. The love that I should have passed on to him when he was a child. I am finding peace after all these years and I thank you for it.
Thank you so much! Rita (AZ)

Mag's Last Supper; After my greasy "last supper" at The Islands, Lynne and I watched Jane Fendelman's award-winning documentary, Jane Doe: An Intimate Journey with a Powerful Teacher--Cancer. The film is a candid reflection of Jane's thoughts and emotions after her devastating diagnosis of an aggressive breast cancer (sound familiar?). While some parts of it were hard to watch (I had to walk out of the room when she started talking about the possibility of dying with her family), most of it was truly uplifting. I identify with Jane so much. I feel in some ways we are soul sisters. View a clip of Jane Doe on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rS94deJ1BI), and let me know what you think.
On Sunday - inspired by Jane's video and my new ugly boy cut - I went wig shopping. I also started experimenting with some scarves. The new photo in my "WELCOME" section was the first scarf I tried on. I wore it to church and no one stared or laughed at me so I'm thinking it looked okay. Magdalin (Phx, AZ)

Hi Jane,
Just wanted to thank you for a great workshop last night! Your energy and enthusiasm are truly infectious, and I really enjoyed your mix of anecdotes/real-life examples, concrete tools/techniques, and inspiring dialogue. The women seemed to respond really well. And thank you for donating your materials to the library! We love them!

Hi Jane,
I attended your workshop tonight with my daughter-in-law at Fresh Start. You are great. I have been praying for a way to lead my daughter-in-law and son into some way to help them, their marriage and my grandson. I think you are the angel God sent to help them. Would you please email me the "Magical 71 Questionnaire?" Thank you very much for your passion for helping children. I pray that attending tonight will be the beginning of help for my precious grandchild.
Blessings, Carol Wood (AZ)

OH MY GOD!!!!! I am sitting here in tears. You are so incredible, My Janie DOE. Not that I didn't know that already, 'cause I did. Not that I needed any more proof, 'cause I didn't. But to be able to share a slice of your life, in that way, is just incredible and I THANK YOU FOR THAT. I THANK YOU FOR MAKING THAT VIDEO [Jane Doe].
I am completely moved by it and, I can only hope, that it lasts... For life has this funny way of sweeping us up and along and away from the Truth that THIS MOMENT IS ALL WE HAVE and, as you say in the video, we really can do whatever it is we want. Whatever magical (or mundane!) thing we think it, we really can do. And all me must do- although it can be an insurmountable challenge if we let it- is to BELIEVE IN OURSELVES.
This movie is a necessary, beautiful, and brilliant reminder- no, command- to LIVE AND DIE BY THIS TRUTH. YOU, my dear, sweet, oh-so-precious sister, who has not only emerged victorious from a brutal affair with death, but also wrested from its hands a priceless gem of wisdom, GIVE ME- and all women, all people- the knowledge we need to live life fully without first having to face our own demise. I learn to value myself through your example. I learn to believe in myself TODAY. I learn to choose to love myself TODAY. I learn to not wait until my life is threatened to know that it is of value.
Jane Fendelman you are a genius. I love you beyond words. You will forever be my irreplaceable teacher, my priceless treasure. Thank you for kicking cancer's ass. Your story is an invitation for us all to rise to the challenge to find self-love RIGHT NOW.
I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your Biggest Fan, Alyson Maloy, MD (aka Your Sister from another Mister, Dr Al!!!!!!!!!!)

Jane,
You have been an absolute blessing to my son and I. Our relationship has improved in every loving way. You are truly a gift in my life and you will forever be in my heart. I will constantly be singing your praises to every parent I meet that is suffering through life with an "ADD" child. I tell them once they open their heart to you, the little person running their household will become a loving asset to the family unit. Thank you for helping me live my life with love and praise for myself and my son.
All my love, Sarah (AZ)

Subject: Jane, You Saved My Marriage!!!
Dear Jane,
I watch you every Friday on Arizona Midday. I race to get the TV on because they always have you first up. You are always so funny and entertaining BUT the big thing was, you were talking about your technique called The Four A's: 1. Acknowledge the Hurt, 2. Apologize 3. Act of Amends and 4. Ask Forgiveness. My husband has always seemed so insensitive to my feelings and he hated that I "recycled" old fights but you said women do that because the old wound was never healed. You said "A woman starts to guard her heart and when her heart is closed...her legs are closed." Boy! Are you right! You went over The Four A's (I taped it...I always tape your segments) we tried it (that, and I got your Women's Lib Sux CD...that blew my mind in a really good way) and we haven't recycled a fight since! I even do it with my kids now. I LOVE my husband again and he loves me. We got our spark back (if ya know what I mean)!!!
Love You! Allie
PS~I LOVE the way you dress! Where do you shop? PPS~I almost forgot to tell you, my 7 yr old son's ADHD went away after my husband and I fixed OUR problem!!! Allison W. (Chandler, AZ)

Jane's a Miracle Worker! Before we met Jane, my husband and I were at war with our 9 year old son and 6 year old daughter and the kids were at war with each other. Everything was a fight: meals, bedtime, chores, homework. We had one session with Jane and got results, as she promised, the minute we got home and walked in the door. We got two copies of her book: one for home and one to give to my son's teacher. She read it and loves it too. We're going to invite you to speak at our next parent/teacher meeting. Thank you Jane! You saved my family-no, wait a minute-you helped ME save my family! Sincerely, Jan

Hi Jane!
I bought your book last week and it just arrived! I have been spending the weekend reading it (with my highlighter in hand). I bought it because I found your name from researching ADD/ADHD. I have a nine year old who struggles at times in school and I am appalled that everyone's opinion (solicited or not) is to drug him.
I have to buy more copies of your book so I can give them as Holiday gifts to the people I love...I think they would be much more meaningful than a sweater from the GAP!
Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for writing a book that really spoke to me. Keep up the good work...your work truly does make a difference.
Sincerely, Felicia

A Cure for ADHD without Meds! Parents, there is help! This is the book for you if you want results, are sick of the "Dr. Bills," the education bills and sick of not getting anywhere. With Jane and this book, in a very short amount of time I have seen results in my children 6 & 10 yrs. This book is well worth the money, a hundred times over! Try it, amazing things will happen!!! :)
Thanks, Heather Heather R. (Phoenix, AZ)

It WORKS! I can really feel Jane's passion for children and family issues in her book. I have five children and though my children do not have ADHD, I use many of her concepts that help me to raise wonderful children and enjoy it! My favorite concept is her "Yes, after you...." concept. Instead of saying, "No you can't go to the movies because your room isn't clean" say "Yes, you can go to the movies after your room is clean." This is highly effective, it works great even with my 2 year old. Thank you, Jane! This is the best book I have ever read!

Subject: Thank you from Romany,
Reading your book opened my eyes to what we were missing. Thank you Jane for this book and all that you have given my family. What we have learned from you can't be measured. Our lives have changed so much for the better it is hard to believe the way we were :).

A THOUGHTFUL APPROACH TO ADHD, As a clinical professional, I can recommend this book to parents, teachers and others who work or live with children diagnosed with ADD, ADHD and related problems. The author builds on her experience and excellent theoretical knowledge to describe behavioral alternatives to a medication model of treatment. A staunch opponent of drug therapy for children, Ms. Fendelman provides reassuring, sensible advice for parents--and some laughter along the way.

Foreword to Jane's Parenting book, Raising Humane Beings written by George Addair Ph.D. Founder of Omega Vector Self-Awareness Seminar
Raising Humane Beings is the finest book on raising children ever written. Rarely in life does a reader find a single book that sufficiently covers an entire subject. After reviewing Jane's book I found myself thinking differently, for such a book will shift your thinking, and you, like me, will never be the same. I am pleased to endorse both her and her masterful book.
If you don't read this book now, you will in time. If you do not agree with it, time will prove to you that Jane was right. If you reread it twenty years from now you will be surprised at how advanced this book was, and you will then realize it as one of the greatest tools of the decades, not just for our children, but for our world. This book is the finest on this subject that I have ever seen, and it deserves a high place of honor in the world today.
